Terms of service

The rules for using ATS CV Fixer. Please read them before you create an account or pay.

These terms are an agreement between you and ATS CV Fixer ("we", "us"), which runs atscvfixer.com from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. Our Privacy policy and Refund policy are part of these terms.

1. What ATS CV Fixer does

  • Free ATS check: we read your CV and give you an ATS Readiness Score from 0 to 100 with a list of problems and how to fix them, based on the region you choose and, if you add one, a job ad.
  • CV editor: you can build or edit a CV in ATS-friendly templates, with a live score.
  • AI CV fix: our software and an AI provider rebuild your CV from your real information and your answers, then show you the result and a list of changes.
  • Paid downloads and extras (such as a matching cover letter), when payments are open.

The ATS Readiness Score is our own estimate of how well typical applicant tracking systems can read your CV. Employers use different systems and settings, so another tool or employer may score the same CV differently.

2. No job or interview guarantee

We improve the format, structure and wording of your CV. We do not provide jobs, and we do not guarantee interviews, job offers or any particular result. Hiring decisions are made by employers and depend on your experience, the job and many other things outside our control. Before an AI fix and before you pay, we ask you to confirm that you understand this.

3. You are responsible for your CV

  • Everything in your CV must be true. Don't ask us to add experience, qualifications, dates or numbers you don't have.
  • Our AI is instructed never to invent facts, and we highlight numbers we can't find in your original CV. AI can still make mistakes, so read your new CV carefully and correct anything that isn't exactly right before you send it.
  • You are responsible for the CVs and cover letters you send to employers.

4. Your account

  • You need an account to use the editor, the AI fix and paid features. Give a real email address and keep your password secret.
  • One account is for one person. Use it for your own CV. To make a CV for someone else, they need their own account. After a CV is first downloaded, the name on it can't be changed to a different person.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the site.
  • You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

5. Free features and fair use

The ATS check and report are free. To keep them fast and free for everyone, we limit how often they can be used (for example a number of checks per hour, and one free AI fix per account per day). We may change these limits.

6. Prices and payments

  • Payments are one-time. There are no subscriptions and nothing renews.
  • The price, currency and what is included are shown before you pay. Prices may differ by country. Any taxes are shown at checkout where they apply.
  • Payments are taken by Stripe or PayPal. Their terms also apply to the payment.
  • We may change prices for future purchases. A change never affects a purchase you have already made.

7. What a purchase includes

  • A fixed CV purchase unlocks that CV for 7 days: you can see the full text, edit it, ask for changes, and download it as PDF and Word as often as you need in that time.
  • After 7 days, your saved CV stays in your account. Unlocking it again to edit or download may need a new purchase or an update fee, which is always shown before you pay.
  • A cover letter is an optional extra for one job. A letter for another job is a new purchase.
  • Downloads are for your own job applications. You may not resell our templates, files or service.

8. Digital delivery, cancellation and refunds

Our products are digital content, delivered straight away. Before you pay, you can see your score, the list of changes and a preview. At checkout we ask you to agree that delivery starts immediately and that, once you have downloaded your file, you lose the right to cancel. If a delivered file is broken, missing or not what we promised, we will fix it free or refund you. The details are in our Refund policy. Nothing in these terms takes away rights that consumer law in your country gives you.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • upload content that is illegal, harmful, or that you have no right to use (including another person's CV without their permission);
  • use the site to create false or misleading CVs or documents;
  • try to break, overload, scrape or copy the site, get around its limits, or access other people's data;
  • resell our service, or use it to run a competing service, without our written permission.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

10. Your content and our content

  • Your CV stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy policy.
  • The site, our software, templates, scores, texts and logo belong to ATS CV Fixer. You may use downloaded CVs for your own applications.

11. Advertising and other websites

Some pages show ads from Google and its partners. We are not responsible for the content of ads or of other websites we link to.

12. Availability and changes

We work to keep the site available and accurate, but we don't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or stop features. If we stop a feature you have paid for during its 7-day period, we will give you your files or a refund.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows: the service is provided "as is"; we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost job opportunities, lost income or lost data; and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for fraud.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes go to the courts of Dubai, unless the consumer law of your country gives you the right to use your local courts.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version. Important changes are emailed to account holders before they apply. Purchases already made follow the terms in force when you paid.
